May-2011 Fronterra proudly helped sponsor this one day symposium, held this year in Dallas, Texas at the Southern Methodist University, Cox School of Business, Maguire Energy Institute. The symposium featured presentations from key operators in the Barnett Shale – Dale Resources, the Haynesville Shale – Chesapeake Energy, the Marcellus Shale – Range Resources, the Eagle Ford Shale – Petrohawk Energy, the Granite Wash – Newfield, and the Bakken Shale – EnerPLUS Resources. The keynote address was given by Jay Ottoson, Executive Vice President & Chief Operating Officer of SM Energy. This event was a great opportunity for US operators and service companies to listen to real world examples and challenges faced in the various domestic unconventional plays.
