New office in Anchorage, Alaska

In September 2007 Fronterra opened a new office in Anchorage, Alaska, brining their total to 9 worldwide.
Doug Waters heads the Alaska team as Region Manager. In less than a month he recruited a team of 4 geologists who started to work on assignments at the North Slope as well as Argentina. Doug’s goal is to steadily increase his team as the unit continues to grow offering professional services to E&P companies in Alaska and Canada.

Doug brings 20+ years experience to Fronterra having developed his technical skills and geological experience with major national and international E&P and service companies.
The name Alaska comes from the Aleut word Aleyska meaning “Great Land”. Interesting enough Denali is the tallest mountain in North America meaning “Great One” in Athabascan and it became the street address of our new office (see under “contact”).

Services offered by the Alaskan team include the following: Geological Evaluation, Reservoir Characterization, Geophysical Interpretation, Wellsite Geology, Borehole Geophysics, Seismic Acquisition Management, Petrophysical Interpretation, Borehole Image Processing and Analysis, Drilling Engineering, Geosteering, Reservoir Engineering and Modeling.
